A simple chilli and onion pickle recipe
Updated: May 24
This is really a simple recipe, but one of my favourites as a garnish!
All you need is simply chillies and onions. If you are able to get green and red chillies, it would definitely look better as it would be colorful but if you just one sort, that's fine.
Today, my friend got me these green chillies, so I decided to pickle them!
Sauce | soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, water
How to make a simple chilli and onion pickle garnish
Chop the chillies and onions.
Then make the sauce using the ratio of soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and water as 1:1:1:1
Put the chopped chilles and onions in a jar or a container.
Add the sauce.
Leave it in the fridge for a day and enjoy!
Then, simply enjoy!
Here, you can see how easy it is!
*After I finished the picked chillies and onions, I simply used the juice to make second one with the red and green peppers. It wouldn't be as tangy as the first one, but it was still nice!
The picture above on the right is the pickled pepper (capsicum) from the recycled juice!
*You can boil the sauce but in this case, I didn't because I didn't have a lot of chillies and I knew it would be finished in a couple of days.
Thank you for reading and hope you enjoy your pickle garnish!
